Walker Building Company is owned and operated by Kevan and Jayme Walker. We started our business in 2018 by combining our backgrounds in construction and project management, and we have been building and renovating homes together ever since.
Our completed projects include custom home builds, spec home design-builds, custom shop design-builds, ADU builds, and renovated kitchens, bathrooms, basements and entire homes.

Kevan has been building and remodeling homes in Washington, Oregon and Idaho for fifteen years. His intuitive understanding of construction comes from years spent working as a carpenter on custom home builds, home renovations and zip line towers. He became a general contractor in 2017 and then joined forces with his wife to start Walker Building Company in 2018.
In the first several years, Kevan juggled the onsite construction management aspect of each project while also self-performing everything from excavation, concrete and framing to siding, painting and millwork. The long hours, late nights and physical demands of trying to wear too many hats was not sustainable, especially with a young family at home, so Kevan began assembling a team of skilled specialty contractors to perform the work so that he could focus entirely on project leadership, coordination and management.
In doing so, he was able to improve the building process and it became very apparent how important a dedicated construction project manager is to delivering a smooth-sailing project that is on time and within budget.
With a genuine gift for connecting with people, Kevan thrives in relationship-based work. His deep understanding of construction and how things fit together makes him a skilled problem-solver and steady leader.
Jayme Walker | Owner + Business Manager

Jayme was going to her dad's job sites and riding in the backhoe back when she was still a toddler. She has been around construction and small business all her life. She is the driving force behind Walker Building Company and values project management as the vehicle for transforming ideas into reality.
She is a visionary by nature, with a natural ability to figure things out and break them down into clear, actionable steps. She lives in the spaces where vision, concepts and ideas intersect with design, plans and systems. Jayme tends to see both the big picture and the small details which helps her to bring ideas to life. Whether it’s designing a home or website, planning a project, or building a business, she moves fluidly between vision and execution.
Her background has provided a wide range of experience in all departments of small business: finance, operations, marketing, client services and administration.
Jayme believes that how we do the work matters just as much as what we build. She is always in pursuit of alignment and virtue, and is passionate about creating a business that feels grounded, true and aligned.
